Wake up to the most stunning setting, surrounded by ancient apple orchards and pasture off the beaten track. With superb views across to the Cotswolds and the Severn Vale, footpaths leading off from the farm, and two village pubs a short walk away, glamping at Willow Hill is your perfect rural getaway.

Through the apple blossom
Choose from nine fully-equipped luxury five metre bell tents, each with one double and two fold out single beds, and plenty of extras. Image for illustration, bell tents vary but all have our signature comfort and style.

Don’t want to cook? No problem! Aside from the farm, Willow Hill is home to Happerley, and we’re passionate about food and its provenance.  We offer pre-order breakfast boxes, lunch takeaways, BBQ boxes and evening meals, as well as a range of English wines, beers and spirits and ice.

The location
For nature lovers, the area is alive with wildlife and especially good for birdwatching. The hill sits above Coombe Hill Nature Reserve which has hides for keen birdwatchers to enjoy. The River Severn is just 15 minutes walk from the farm where you can pick up the Severn Way path.

The medieval town of Tewkesbury is just 5 miles away with Gloucester (7 miles) and Cheltenham (9 miles) an easy drive. Further afield, the Forest of Dean has hiking and bike trails, picnic areas and a Go Ape climbing course, or you can head to the rolling hills of the Cotswolds and take an outing to pretty villages and market towns where there’s plenty for all the family to see and do.

Yes you can. We can look at creating a bespoke event with all - or a number of bell tents - booked out to accommodate a larger gathering or party. We have held extended family gatherings, birthday parties, wedding weekends and hosted groups of friends across our bell tents and camping field, with exclusive use of the Mill House for private dining.

We love creating a special experience for guests, so do get in touch to discuss how we can make a memorable stay for you.  Please call us on 01242 222878 during office hour - or email enquiries@willow-hill.co.uk - to discuss your plans and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Yes, we can accommodate cars on site. Once you have unloaded your car close to our glamping bell tents, we ask guests to park their car in the top field, a short walk away.

We love dogs, and are very dog-friendly!

Glamping guests are welcome to bring up to two dogs per bell tent, free of charge. (Please note, camping guests pay a charge of £5 per dog, max two dogs).

Please get in touch if you have any questions about bringing your dog by calling 01242 222878 or email us enquiries@willow-hill.co.uk.

Yes - we have a well-stocked small farm shop on site selling fantastic meat and beautiful cheeses - all from named farms - and a range of fresh produce, including fruit and vegetables.

Bread, milk and eggs are available, along with ice creams, snacks and sweet treats. Ideal for gifts - or treat yourself - we sell high quality oils, relishes and jams.

We also stock a wide range of artisan beers, lagers and cider, English wines, spirits plus a variety of soft drinks.

Coffee, tea and hot chocolate can be purchased from the shop, served to the Shrubbery tables or for takeaway.

If you want to do a cook up yourself, we offer breakfast boxes and barbecue packs.

If you want to take it easy, we offer 12" stone-baked Provenance Pizzas, with a choice of fresh toppings, every evening from 6pm - 9pm.

An alternative is our Provenance Platters, an array of delicious cheeses to sample, accompanied by warmed bread, relishes and salad.

If you can't see what you're looking for, please ask one of the team!

The glamping units are fully furnished and all bedding, bed linen and towels are included. The nights can become chilly, so check the forecast and bring plenty of layers, including warm nightwear.   It's worth bringing a torch as parts of the site are unlit, and you might be glad of wellies if there's a lot of dew on the morning grass. Glampers can access the Mill House for hot water, so bring a thermal cup or flask to make up a tea or coffee.

Glamping guests are asked to arrive no earlier than 3pm, and we like to confirm a preferred arrival time by giving you a call a few days before your first day.

This means that we can plan for plenty of time to welcome you and your family/friends, and introduce you to Willow Hill and our offer.

Let us know if your arrival is going to be any later than 8pm so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

Glamping guests are asked to depart by 11am on their last day.

If you have any queries about your stay, please give us a call on 01242 222878 or email enquiries@willow-hill.co.uk.
