Originally a wash house, this delightful little dwelling has been converted to offer a secluded space for two with an en-suite wet room including a monsoon shower. Luxury touches include a complimentary welcome basket, tea and coffee facilities, and mini fridge with drinks. Outside, there’s a cute courtyard laid with table and chairs, soft lights, fire basket and outdoor heater. We can also (at no charge) put up a tent for two in the courtyard for young children to enjoy their own camping adventure.
A passion for food
Food is our passion, and we love to engage and excite guests with a range of unforgettable seasonal flavours and delicacies from producers with provenance! Meals can be taken in the Mill House, a superb space with banqueting table and large woodburner, or outdoors in the shrubbery, depending on the weather.
Here’s what our guests say
“This is a beautiful place and the food was absolutely amazing. We thought of a menu we would like for our 10 year wedding anniversary and Matthew and team delivered what we were hoping for and even more! I am already starting to think about the next dream menu…”
“Amazing hosts – my wife and I asked if we could take our ten year old and they set up a two man tent in our patio garden just for her with mattress and sleeping bag! The farm sits in the middle of their own hill with sweeping views across Gloucestershire – a safe paradise for dogs and children to roam and play freely – which they encourage. Very relaxed. Our Labrador and child did not want to leave. Incredible English wine and gin cellar that was a surprise – lovely complementaries and touches. We opted for breakfast boxes – all laid out for us in front of a roaring wood stove in this beamed barn opposite. Great food – they obviously care as much about provenance of their food as they do their guests. Magical – a real find – thanks Matthew and team! Recommend the village pub – very short walk away – though next time would try the host’s dinner boxes judging by the breakfast.“
