“In our first year, as word spread, we strained to cope with our overnight popularity. Whatever lessons we learned (and there were many), the majority of our guests complimented us on our ‘vibe’. 

“Whatever changes we have made for 2023, not least to reduce numbers and considerable investment in club and kitchen facilities, the vibe is our essence.

“I believe the vibe is born from the opportunity here to disconnect from the distractions of everyday life, its stresses, responsibilities and complications. 

“At Willow Hill our joy and pleasures are rooted in nature, the simplicity of freedom and celebrating the love in all our relationships, across family, friends, food, nature and the new connections to be enjoyed here.

“We will never be more than commercially sustainable because here I wish you all to feel enveloped in a family kindness away from the madding world, a place in which all relationships may flourish.”
